Unamen Shipu, the Innu community located on Quebec’s Lower North Shore, is accessible by boat (Bella Desgagnés), airplane (PAL Airlines), or snowmobile. A community organization, Tourisme Winipeukut Nature welcomes you and offers various activities: guided tours of the community, zodiac boat excursions throughout Gulf of St. Lawrence archipelagos, three-night stays on a remote island where you will get to experience our millennia-old culture, traditional lobster fishing, as well as observation of northern fauna and flora.
